Playing the Ball
1. If your ball lies in a bunker don't touch the ground with the club before the downswing.

3. You may mark clean your ball upon reaching the putting green after first marking the spot of your ball, wipe with cloth or outside of green).
4. You must tee off within two club lengths behind the front edges of the tee markers if you tee off outside this area, a two stroke penalty is assessed and you must retee within the proper area.
5. When dropping a ball, it should be dropped from knee height. If the ball when redropped rolls into the same area of relief, place it where it first struck a part of the course when redropped.
6. If the ball enters the water before hitting the ground, you may tee up from the red markers with a one stroke penalty, or hit from the yellow markers, after other players have hit their first ball, without using a tee, or go to the spot where flight of the ball first crossed into the water, (not where it ended up in the water), place a marker at that spot, go in two club length, place marker at the spot, and face the hole and drop the ball to the side of you that is nearest the water with a one stroke penalty.
7. If the ball hits the ground before going into water, the ball will be placed at the point of contact with ground with a one stroke penalty.
